It keeps our costs sensible, which is why the price is what it is, and it keeps your rate-limit exposure yours rather than shared with every other store here. Proxies are required — an order will refuse to dispatch without one rather than go out on our address.

Because it has no gateway connection, and it does not need one. Commands are delivered to us over HTTPS and answered the same way, which is what makes a hosted bot cost a database row instead of a process. Every command works exactly as it would with a green dot beside it.
